Film-maker and photographer, he has been working for years
on gli atlanti, a trilogy about those Sardinian villages that are heading towards extinction. Experimental documentary is his preferred genre and, after 3-years working in the cinema industry in the UK, he has decided to move back to his native village of Villanova Monteleone.

Born in 1995, this was his first experience in editing – an experience which he defined as gratifying but also exhausting, due to the length of the film. He loves horses and, with his accordion and his band, he is a constant presence on Sardinian stages, where he plays traditional Sardinian music.
FRANCESCO MURA
MAYOR OF NUGHEDU SV
He has been involved in politics since he was a boy and in 2013 he became the mayor of Nughedu. He grew up in Oristano, the largest city in the area, but he never severed contacts with the village of his birth. Determined to be at the service of the community, he has lived in Nughedu for years now.
